We are exclusively a functions musical act.
This can depend on your event and particulars. Travel?/Reception?/Ceremony?/Canapes?
Your time starts when the guests arrive. So, if you’ve hired a room from 6pm-11pm, your 5 hours starts at 6pm.
We generally work around your schedule. Your best bet is to shoot through your schedule. We’ll give you an answer once we know more about your event.
Generally 60-90 minutes before your guests arrive for the band. Solo approx. 30 minutes.
Not in the greater Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. If your location is outside this area we may have to charge travel.
Please include the location details of your venue and we’ll calculate our travel costs.
Paperboy has a vast catalogue of appropriate songs to choose from on our list. If you are after something more particular for your special moment (eg. bridal waltz, entrance, garter/bouquet toss, father daughter dance, exit song) please notify us with at least 6 weeks notice to allow time to learn. If you want the original recorded version, we are unable to play your song or there isn’t enough time, don’t worry! We can provide the mp3 recording and we will happily play it through our PA system assuming it is readily available via Spotify. This is a free service.
We utilise modern technology to reduce our footprint and maintain full control over our levels. We do not use guitar amplifiers, this keeps optimal control over levels and clarity as well as saves space so more room for dancing!
Yes. Our lead singer also plays acoustic guitar and sings for ceremony and canapes though battery powered PA so need need for on location power! Please inquire if you are interested in this service.

Sure thing! Just let us know in advance. Please consider where the band will be in relation to where your speeches will take place if we are to provide a microphone.
Yes. We’ll put on an mp3 player with an appropriate playlist. We can also play your Spotify playlist if you provide a link.
We’ll just require 1x power outlet with an approx. 3 x 4 m area out of the elements with dry, clean and sturdy ground.
Yes we love playing outside! But, we’ll require shelter in case of bad weather. We might have to stop playing if our equipment gets wet. This is a serious safety concern. So, please ensure we have adequate shelter or inclement weather options.
